Just an updated image here, showing the GUI working.

Remember the basic controls for the demo are as follows. Forward Back and rotation of character is by arrow keys. Hold down and drag middle mouse button to rotate CAM. Scroll wheel zooms CAM in and out. F1 - Full Screen Esc - Exit

I've finally gotten a release build working properly, Download at left and an updated pic. Most of the behind the scene stuff is working well now, I added some bad textures because I was getting board of the old wire look.

In the Assets folder you will find text versions of the Files used by the engines Asset Manager. Have a play around. The point of all this is that we have a strict hierarchy starting from the Camera (12.cm) through to Meshes (6.ms)

Objects (5.ob) belong to Zones. Ownership now transfers from zone to zone as you walk through them. This is important, as the camera is attached to the object.

I have one more GLU functions yet to replace, then it will be 100% GL, but till then you will require this library.
